LUCAS MARINUS
Hi, I’m Lucas. I was born on the 11th of June 2000 in Antwerp. Two months later I moved to Djibouti living there with my family. My dad always wanted to work there, so the whole family moved. I spend the first six years of my life discovering the beauty of Africa. I lived in Djibouti, Rwanda, Benin, and Ghana. Thanks to this, I have been able to see and experience amazing things at a young age.
When I turned six, we moved back to Antwerp. A few years later, after graduating from high school, I rediscovered my passion for traveling and I bought my first camera (2018). After documenting my travels, my passion grew more and more. I started upgrading my equipment and used every cent I made to finance my camera gear.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Business Engineering and I’m currently doing an MSc in Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Esade in Barcelona, combining it with my work as a media producer.
